Counter Sales Associate
South Texas Tack, LLC is a retail store located outside of Brenham, Texas. We service customers online and by catalog nationwide. South Texas Tack, LLC is seeking to hire a Counter Sales Representative to join our team at the store in Brenham, Texas. Job Requirements, Responsibilities, Skills and Knowledge
Requirements:
- full time -work hours from 9am-5:30pm Monday-Saturday (one day off) Closed Sundays
- must take lunch at store
- strong communication skills
- being a team leader
- work independently
- stand on feet all day
- employee handbook that requires signature before employment
Responsibilities:
- assist customers with merchandise questions
- check customers out
- cover counter at all times
- cleaning work area
- straightening merchandise
- informing customers of promotions
- informing customers of policy
- occasional merchandising if directed by manager
- responsible for assigned drawer
Skills:
- excellent customer skills
- excellent computer skills
- excellent marketing skills
- following direction
- self motivated
- excepting change and direction
Knowledge:
- Educated on product sold in store and online
- Needs to have prior horse and tack knowledge
- User friendly with most product
- Comprehending digital point of sale program
