The Jim Edwards San Saba Bit offers a medium height rounded non- palate pressure mouthpiece and a 5 1/2 inch fixed shank. The shank gives the rider leverage and offers direct contact and immediate cues. The non-palate pressure mouthpiece applies pressure only to the edges of the horses' tongue for a direct cue.

This Jim Edwards handcrafted bit offers direct contact and immediate cues with a 5 1/2 inch fixed shank and a "V" shaped correction point. This bit offers a non- palate pressure mouthpiece and with that the shank gives the rider leverage and the mouthpiece applies pressure to the edges of the horses tongue and gives the horse a direct cue. The size of the mouthpiece is under 2 inches in height and doesn't interfere with the roof of the mouth while still offering plenty of tongue relief.

The hinges have been welded solid in the Jim Edwards Kenny bit, thus converting the correctional into a solid port. The 5 1/2" fixed shank offers direct contact and leverage while the mouthpiece applies the pressure. The pressure response is focused on the edges of the horse's tongue, providing the horse with a direct cue. At just under 2" in height, the mouthpiece provides ample tongue relief without interfering with the roof of the mouth.
